DNP was founded in 2013 by Suzanne Morris, Experienced Specialist Physiotherapist in neurological rehabilitation.
After years of service within the NHS rising to the role of Clinical Lead in Rehabilitation at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals- Suzanne made the life-changing decision to establish DNP, following the sudden passing of her mentor and friend, Pam Mulholland.
Motivated by a vision to provide expert, person-centred rehabilitation within the community, Suzanne began working privately at Euxton Hall Hospital, treating just one patient. Her expertise, compassion, and results earned her a strong reputation, attracting two of her trusted former colleagues, Helen Bonney and Vicky Haslam, to join her mission.
As the number of patients increased, it became clear that DNP needed its own dedicated space. By late 2019, plans were underway to open a purpose-built neurological rehabilitation clinic.
While the new clinic was being constructed, the business temporarily relocated to Lavender Barn, Leyland. Then, in 2020, the pandemic struck, bringing construction & hands on treatment to a standstill.
Despite these challenges, Suzanne remained determined to press forwards with her plans. With encouragement from Brian and Martin Kitchin of BRK Business Park, she decided to continue with the clinic build. In September 2020, DNP proudly opened its doors to a specialist neurological rehabilitation clinic in a peaceful countryside setting. The clinic quickly became a hub of positivity and recovery, allowing the team to rebuild and grow stronger than ever.
As client numbers have grown, Suzanne has been fortunate enough to be joined by four more of her former colleagues. Today, Dynamic Neurophysiotherapy is made up of a team of twelve therapists, including six specialist neurological physiotherapists, an occupational therapist & five extended support therapists.
Together they have formed an extremely strong & dedicated team of highly skilled therapists who all share Suzanne’s passion for neurological rehabilitation & drive to deliver exceptional patient care.
Dynamic Neuro Physiotherapy is home to a growing team of six highly skilled Neurological Physiotherapists, each sharing a deep commitment to helping patients live fuller, more independent lives.
